To establish district policy that supports Title I parent/family engagement in the Logan City School District.
Title I School - A school with a schoolwide program that is a comprehensive reform strategy designed to upgrade the entire educational program; its primary goal is to ensure that all students, particularly those who are low-achieving, demonstrate proficient and advanced levels of achievement on State academic achievement standards.
Technical assistance - providing the advice, assistance, expertise, and training for an identified need or problem.
Parental Engagement - the amount of participation a parent or guardian has when it comes to schooling and her or his child's life.

A parent, school leadership team member, and principal from each Title I school will be invited to participate in the development of the district plan.
Parents from participating Title I schools will review information, attend scheduled meetings, and give input into the development of the district plan.

The Director over Title I and the Director over Special Education will coordinate parent engagement activities with the Title I preschool program and the district special education program, and will meet at least twice a year to discuss plans and coordinate efforts.
The District will conduct an annual parental engagement evaluation.
At the end of the school year, Title I principals, teachers, and parents will be asked to provide feedback on how the District might improve support for parental engagement.
At the beginning of the school year, the District will provide a summary of the parental engagement survey with its plans to address identified needs and recommendations.
The District will ensure that Title I schools are engaging parents in a variety of school activities.
